Social media tricks us into believing that success is quick, goals are easily accomplished, and if we aren’t a social media celebrity within a month, something is wrong with us.
Nothing is wrong with us.
Success takes time. Most successful entrepreneurs you’ve read about took years (sometimes decades) to reach their current level of success. Many even failed during their first venture or two.
Star musicians that just “came out of nowhere” actually spent years traveling a lonely highway, singing in hole-in-the-wall bars for tips while just trying to refine their craft. They didn’t appear “out of nowhere.” they’ve been competing this entire time.
Same holds true to you. Just because it hasn’t happened quickly doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. Keep fighting – however long it takes.
